Trivia Night serves as Horizons at St. Richard’s largest fundraising event of the year!
On Friday, February 6, 2026, nearly 300 professionals and business leaders with a passion for giving back to the Indianapolis community will gather as part of 30 different teams competing to be the winner of Horizons Trivia Night. Trivia Night combines a fun evening with the opportunity for supporters to learn not only about Horizons’ work but also the sponsoring organizations who support Horizon’s at St. Richard’s mission. Here are the answers to your most frequent questions about the event!
What does Trivia Night raise money to support?
Trivia Night is a fundraiser that raises money to provide tuition-free, high-quality programming and academic instruction during the Horizons at St. Richard’s summer program for students that qualify for free and reduced lunches. Horizons offers our students reading and math instruction, project-based learning, social-emotional curriculum, life-saving swimming lessons, educational field experiences, nutritious lunch and snacks, and memories that last a lifetime.
Where will this year’s Trivia Night be held?
Trivia Night will be held in-person at INDUSTRY event space, located at 545 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, 46225.
How does registration work?
Players create a team of 6 or 10 players (due to seating constraints). Please designate a team captain who will purchase a team package for the members of their team using our secure page. Horizons Trivia Night 2025 Team Registration Tickets can only be purchased online at this site. Teams will be able to purchase a FAN package at $100 per person or a SUPER FAN package at $150 per person for different sized teams. See more information below about package options.
How many people are on a team?
The tables seat teams of either 10 people or 6 people due to the space and furniture available at our venue.
What is the difference between the different packages?
All packages come with admission to the event and dinner provided by Nameless Catering. You can choose packages priced at $100 or $150 per ticket.

What should I expect at Trivia Night?
Enjoy 5 thrilling rounds of trivia, each carefully crafted to challenge and entertain, presented by Naptown Trivia. This event will be hosted by, Ann Thompson, SRES’s teacher extraordinaire. Doors will open at 5:30 pm through the north entrance off of the parking lot. Keep an eye out for the balloons! There will be a taco and nacho bar served by Nameless Catering available throughout the evening starting when doors open. Teams will be assigned a number and table to guarantee a comfortable seating arrangement for your group. The event will start with a welcoming speech, logistics briefing, and rules overview. Then, the trivia will begin at 6:30pm. Questions will be read aloud by our host and displayed on screen. There will be a short break between each round of trivia. We expect to end by 9:45 pm.
Can teams dress up in costumes or have a table theme?
Yes!! Unleash the inner super fan of your team. We will announce a winner for two different categories: BEST DRESSED and BEST TABLE THEME. Show your love for a sports team, musician, pop culture legacy, or any other fandom and win one of our two awards: Best Dressed and/or Best Table Decorations. We encourage teams to dress up with a shared theme that matches your team name or with some common item you all have (wigs, glasses, spandex, etc.) We also encourage you to decorate your table with a theme.
What are mulligans and hint sheets?
Mulligans and hint sheets give your team a competitive advantage at Trivia Night. Mulligans can be used to replace answers that you are unsure are correct. By using the mulligan on a question, your team automatically receives a point for that question (even if you’re wrong). Only ONE mulligan can be used per round! Hint sheets are provided by NapTown Trivia and give teams a clue to help determine the answer for one specific question in each round. Mulligans and hint sheets are included as part of a Super Fan package.
Mulligans and hint sheets CAN NO LONGER be added on to regular fan packages. They are only available as part of the Super Fan package.
Can I purchase hint sheets and mulligans during the event?
No, all Super Fan packages include hint sheets and mulligans. You will not be able to add on mulligans and hint sheets to fan packages.
Do I need to pay for dinner?
No, dinner is included in your ticket price.
What does the winning team receive for coming in first place?
Bragging rights :)
Do teams have names?
Your team should come up with a fun team name! Team names can be anything. Some common ways to pick a name come from:
Trivia Night Tradition (Some teams have been Horizons Trivia Night supporters since the beginning...we’re looking at you “Trivia Newton John”)
Something Your Team Has in Common (Some teams’ members all have something in common...we’re looking at you “Trivia Cats” - all players had a cat AND “POPES” - the first letters of all of their children’s names)
Funny Trivia Puns and Play on Words (There are tons of possibilities that can be found with a quick Google search)
Your Chosen Fandom (Some teams go all in...we’re looking at you “Swifties Love a Good Tight End”)
Will there be a raffle?
Yes, there will be a 50-50 raffle and a sign-up for Horizons Progressive Cocktail Party.
Will there be a bar?
Yes, there will be a cash bar. Teams that purchase a Super Fan team package will receive one drink ticket per person to cover your first round of beverages.
What is the Horizons Progressive Cocktail Party?
Horizons Progressive Cocktail Party is a fun evening held in late spring or early summer. Guests will be chauffeured on the SRES/Horizons bus to different stops with yummy appetizers, signature cocktails, and/or dessert and coffee at each. It’s a fabulous adult night out with fabulous folks - not to be missed!
Where should I park?
There is free parking in the lot on the north side of the building for up to 95 cars. Overflow parking is available across the street to the south of the event space for $5 per car. Attendees may also choose to take a Lyft or Uber to the event.
