Make an Impact. Teach at Horizons.
Lead and Assistant Teachers
Are you a teacher who wants to make a difference? Are you passionate about working with students from diverse backgrounds? Do you believe in the power of hands-on learning and building strong relationships with the students you teach?
If so, Horizons might be a good fit for you!
We are a high quality summer program looking for talented individuals to work with students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Unlike traditional school environments, you will have the benefit of small student-to-teacher ratios and the freedom to build your own curriculum every summer. We are looking for creative people who are excited about looking beyond worksheets and lectures, and who want to explore innovative and engaging teaching methods.
Lead teachers must have their teaching license and at least one year's experience in the classroom. Assistant teachers are typically college students and must have prior experience working with children and a demonstrable interest in education or youth work. Fill out the interest form below if you are interested in working at Horizons this summer, and someone will be in touch soon!
